Scammers claiming to be the CTP Regulator

The CTP Regulator has been made aware of recent instances of scammers pretending to be from the Regulator’s office and contacting claimants about their CTP insurance claim.

Be wary of cold calls after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. Car crash scammers may pretend to represent government or insurers to encourage you to provide your personal details.

If you are contacted, ask for proof that the caller is who they say they are and search for their phone number in an independent source, like an online search or in a phone book.
