White Ribbon

The Regulator promotes a culture of zero tolerance towards violence and is an active supporter of the global White Ribbon movement to stand up and speak out to stop violence against women in our community.

Violence against women is driven by gender inequality and disrespect. It can take many forms:

  • physical abuse
  • sexual assault and harassment
  • verbal abuse
  • emotional abuse
  • coercive control.

The Regulator is committed to a safe, respectful workplace where all women can excel.

The State Government’s Break The Cycle website (external link) acts as a hub for all domestic violence information in South Australia, including connection to support and services.

While violence against women is prevalent and serious, it is preventable. Together, we can create safer workplaces and communities.
